South Ribble Dyslexia Assessment

Inspiring Excellence

About Me

I’m Louise, I have worked in Further Education with young people aged 14+ and adults for over 25 years and am passionate about celebrating strengths and supporting people to be the very best they can.

For the last 11 years I have also been Specialist Tutor Assessor, carrying out dyslexia assessments to help students identify their strengths and develop strategies to develop their areas they find challenging. I also assess students going to university to enable them to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowance, to access support whilst studying at a higher level, if eligible.

I view an assessment as an opportunity to celebrate strengths and identify any areas of difficulty, then come up with a range of strategies and recommendations to help you to succeed, with or without a diagnosis.

I hold a level 7 SpLD qualification.

I have an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) from The Dyslexia Guild

I am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA & AMBDA FE/HE)

Thankyou

identified as having dyslexia.

I wanted to let you know i have just finished writing a 6000 word dissertation! Before my assessment with you i would never have believed it possible.

your report allowed me to get support at uni and helped me realize that I learn in a different way and how to make it easier.

Thank you
